English Description From SANDINISTA comes an exceptionally well-balanced long-sleeve shirt where fabric, proportions and subtle functional details work beautifully together. The greatest appeal of this piece is undoubtedly its silhouette. Actual measurements are approximately 75 cm length, 55 cm shoulder width, 65 cm chest width and 56 cm sleeve length. The generously dropped shoulders and wide body create plenty of volume, while the overall length remains controlled. Rather than simply looking oversized, the proportions give the shirt a relaxed yet carefully considered contemporary shape. The color is a sophisticated navy tone, showing subtle blue and gray nuances depending on the light. It feels softer than pure black yet more understated and urban than a conventional blue shirt, making it extremely versatile. According to the label, the fabric is 58% cotton and 42% nylon. The high nylon content gives the material a lightweight character and a naturally textured, slightly crinkled surface. Instead of the crisp appearance of a traditional dress shirt, this fabric develops a relaxed expression that perfectly complements the oversized silhouette. A particularly distinctive feature is the large square front pocket. Much larger than a conventional chest pocket, it introduces a subtle utility and workwear influence without disrupting the minimalist appearance of the garment. A small detail attached around the pocket provides another understated visual accent. The shirt is also proudly marked MADE IN JAPAN. With such a restrained design, the quality of construction, fabric and proportions becomes especially important, and these elements give the piece its refined character. SANDINISTA is known for creating everyday clothing that combines timeless simplicity with thoughtful materials, processing and contemporary silhouettes. Rather than relying heavily on logos or decorative graphics, the brand often allows proportion, texture and small functional details to define the personality of its garments. For styling, black wide-leg trousers are an excellent choice. Wear the shirt untucked and allow its generous width to create a relaxed drape. Leather shoes will give the outfit a minimal, slightly mode-inspired direction, while sneakers create an effortless urban casual look. Faded denim or wide chinos also work beautifully. Worn open over a simple white T-shirt, the lightweight cotton-nylon fabric allows the piece to function almost like a casual shirt jacket. There are no loud graphics or oversized logos here. Instead, its appeal comes from the combination of 55 cm shoulders, a generous 65 cm body width, distinctive fabric texture, oversized pocket and sophisticated navy coloring. It is exactly the kind of understated shirt that looks deceptively simple on the hanger but becomes remarkably stylish once worn—a versatile and beautifully proportioned example of SANDINISTA’s approach to contemporary Japanese menswear.
