100％ English Description A stylish ikka men’s gilet vest featuring a rich blue fabric with a distinctive denim-like appearance. Original retail price: ¥4,180 including tax / Size M. Comes with tags. One of the most appealing features of this vest is its beautifully textured blue fabric. While it has the visual character of denim, the outer fabric is actually made from 80% cotton and 20% linen, creating a lighter and more natural appearance. The cotton-linen blend gives the fabric an attractive woven texture and makes this piece particularly suitable for layered spring and summer outfits. Its deep blue tone provides the casual appeal associated with denim while maintaining a cleaner and more refined look. The front features a classic V-shaped gilet silhouette with dark buttons, giving the vest a subtle tailored influence without making it feel overly formal. This balance allows it to work equally well with casual T-shirts, button-down shirts, chinos, trousers and denim. Another excellent detail is the contrasting back panel. While the front has a textured denim-inspired blue appearance, the back is finished in a darker navy fabric, giving the garment a completely different character when viewed from behind. Button adjuster details near the lower back add another subtle design accent. The lining is made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton, while the contrasting fabric section is 100% cotton. The combination of different fabrics gives the vest more depth and character than a basic solid-color waistcoat. Styling Suggestions For an effortless casual outfit, wear it over a plain white T-shirt with beige or olive wide-leg trousers and sneakers. The blue gilet immediately adds dimension to an otherwise simple outfit. For a cleaner look, layer it over a white or light-blue shirt and combine it with chinos or tailored trousers and loafers. It can also be styled more casually with a graphic T-shirt, wide denim pants and a cap. A gilet is particularly useful when a T-shirt alone feels too simple but a jacket feels too heavy. This piece provides an easy additional layer without overwhelming the outfit. With its denim-inspired appearance, cotton-linen fabric and contrasting back design, this ikka vest offers an excellent balance between casual styling and understated sophistication. A versatile layering piece that can be incorporated into a wide variety of men’s outfits from spring through early autumn.
