English Description This is the 2026SS TRISECT2 “The FAT Shirt” by JOURNAL STANDARD, crafted from premium THOMAS MASON shirting fabric. Original retail price: ¥20,900. Size L. Made in Japan. One of the most important features is its luxurious THOMAS MASON fabric. Founded in 1796, THOMAS MASON is renowned for sophisticated shirting textiles, beautiful colors and refined patterns. The dedicated “THOMAS MASON 1796 FABRICS” label at the collar highlights the premium character of this piece. The white base is layered with navy, blue and light-blue checks, creating a fresh and sophisticated plaid pattern. It has the traditional appeal of classic shirting while maintaining a distinctly contemporary appearance. The defining element, however, is the dramatic “FAT” silhouette. Measurements are 62cm shoulder width, 68cm chest width, 82cm length and 58cm sleeve length. The extremely generous 68cm body width and 62cm shoulders create an intentional oversized shape rather than simply looking like a shirt worn several sizes too large. The shorter proportion of the sleeves balances the wide body beautifully, allowing the fabric to fall naturally from the shoulders. The generous amount of fabric also emphasizes the quality of the THOMAS MASON check and creates an attractive drape when worn. For styling, pair it with beige or ecru wide trousers and drape a dark knit over the shoulders for a refined contemporary look. Black wide-leg slacks and leather shoes create a more minimal, mode-inspired outfit, while relaxed denim or chinos and sneakers make it easy to wear casually. Combining premium THOMAS MASON fabric, Japanese construction and TRISECT2’s distinctive oversized design, this is an exceptionally stylish 2026SS shirt that bridges classic tailoring and modern relaxed fashion.
